In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
