I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
